yesterday i got a tip that i may be able to see a celebrity if i grabbed a bite to eat at a wonderful little italian restaurant called da silvano in soho. so, after a drink with new friend jill at the oh-so-lovely mo bar at the mandarin oriental, i braved the pouring rain and the new york subway to feed my tummy and feast my eyes. and sure enough ... i did dine with a movie star! ok, so i wasn't exactly with her. i was alone. a few tables away. but there she was, in the perfect spot for me to star gaze. who was she? none other than the heather graham! she was much taller than i thought and way skinnier. but she smiled an awful lot and seemed to be enjoying herself in her cute-as-a-button hat.
