jockeys y jillys
i'm trying to make the logo for this year's derby party—yay! i want to incorporate the fact that our party date also happens to be cinco de mayo. tripper came up with the idea of changing the name to
jockeys y jillys, which i love.
what do you think? one of these or back to the drawing board?

I love the first one. The 'rita is a great touch!
uh oh, 'cause i love the second one! simple, streamlined and classically cool.
I really like the second one!
Second one for me. Super color combo and very pleasing on the eye. Great idea, Tripper!
I love the second one but how about making the saddle blanket a mexican striped blanket. You know the look. Would tie in the y but still keep a nice clean look. k
I love the top one ... it seems a bit more festive and I love how you incorporated both the horseshoe and glass. I'm a Kentucky girl myself (live here in Lexington) and I wish you a very happy Derby day!
I like the top one. I like the horseshoe and the margarita.
FIRST. MUCH MORE TO THE POINT, THE Y THING IS GOING TO LOOK LIKE A TYPO TO POST.
omg! i love these! so creative. i really love the horse graphic :)
I love the horse image and using the "y" instead of "and"... fabulous... still very Derby but with a subtle splash of Cinco de Mayo! Love it!!

Holly.......I love the top one as well!!!
i really like them both!
i think i agree with kstyle on the 2nd with a mexican blanket though.
you are too creative! i love it!
jockeys y jilleys! Cute idea.
Yay! I found the perfect derby hat. This site is great: www.villagehatshop.com
LOVE the second one, especially the horse's mouth!
I like both but really like the top one.
i like them both, but the top one seems pretty typical...I have a dozen t-shirts from old college sorority socials that have a similar graphic.
The horse is different...and I think most people will get the "y".
Great stuff!
