duvet or not duvet?

myBed
i've been thinking about changing out the duvet cover on our bed, but after taking some photos of our condo this morning, i think i'm still in love with this pale blue bee bedding. i'd love your opinion. keep it or change it? if change it, to what? i was thinking something with green, but now i don't know!

I really like the blue, but green was my first thought when I read you're thinking about changing it. Like a parsley green, not too dark, not too pastel.

It's lovely but change is always fun, too.

thanks, lindsey! it really is pretty. it's that bee bedding from restoration hardware. i'm not sure you can see the bees on it in the picture, but they are lovely!

jane e—exactly! i was thinking sort of a kate spade green. now, i'm not so sure!!

pink, not enough color for you, eh? ps—i love what you've done to your dining room. i can't wait to see more pictures!

I like the duvet I have seen it before at RH but I really like the rows of selves on the wall by the door.

Nice cover! But I would recommend changing it just for fun. Change is good. Don't get stuck with one thing, because life is full of endless possibilities.

Hi Holly! Fellow GA girl (by way of Texas) here. :) I love this Chinoiserie duvet from Anthropology. Very chic and very springy and light.

Green would be a fun change for spring/summer although I think the blue is lovely!

The one you have right now is really pretty.Very calming, soothing, zen like..but change would be good. If you buy a new one in light olive green it wont mean as though you are done with this and you dont like it any more but its just to get out of that mode and freshen your mind and vision.

the best part about having a duvet is that you can have MANY... and change them as your mood changes...

Change it to bring more life into that room.

i think it's great as is, but a small blue/white pattern would be lovely too... Maybe you can just add a few pretty pillowcases and pillows and a patterned throw at the foot of your bed instead?

this is a totally different suggestion- why not try another colour altogether ?something mauve & blue & white maybe? and you can add a white vase with mauve flowers or a bunch of cherry blossoms. oh just have fun :)
