as i was flipping through the new issue of dwell magazine, i stumbled upon this image that i found absolutely delightful. (the article is a good one, too!) i'm guessing the piece (called bank swallow, for american bird architects, ford times from 1959) is completely off budget for me (if even for sale at all), so i decided to make one for myself. it's not quite as fabulous (ok, not at all close), but it was free and i was able to incorporate my color scheme to come up with something that makes me smile. (looks like my dog, ed, couldn't care less. oh well!)
