sometimes tripper has to travel to iowa on business. *lucky duck!* he always brings back a little something and once he brought back this, my favorite! it's a picket, a part of the original fence that appeared in the movie, "field of dreams." the family who owns the property sells these pickets, among other things, to support the ongoing maintenance of the field. it's very fun having a little piece of movie memorabilia hanging around the house. plus, i love it that tripper picked this to bring home to me. it's so symbolic ...a white picket fence!
