remember a few fridays ago when i posted all those monkeys? well ... ta-da! the inspiration behind them is here. our monkey painting by lila graves arrived safe and sound. i love him. look at that face! tripper and i saw this painting at the trinity school art show, spotlight on art. we didn't get it there, but we couldn't stop thinking about it. we were able to contact the artist through the school and she shipped it to us. yay! he's so cute and is definitely keeping me company while i work from home. lila's other monkey paintings have names like bulah and claude, but for some reason this little guy doesn't ... any suggestions?
