calling all cooks

veggies
i need your help. tripper and i have been assigned to bring a vegetable dish to this year's thanksgiving dinner. this is totally an unfair request. nobody in tripper's family even likes vegetables. i want to make something that people will actually eat. should i do just a fancy salad? some kind of vegetable dip? any ideas are much appreciated. i know it's late notice, but we just found out yesterday. the recipe will need to feed about 20 people. thanks!

Does artichoke & spinach dip count as a vegetable? YUM! Or hashbrown casserole- the green/red peppers count as veggies....

there is a fantastic recipe for an artichoke bake in Jamie Oliver's book. you can hop onto the website and find out which book, then find it at the local bookstore and copy it. it is yummy. or bake some sweet potatoes topped w/ maple syrup or molasses in the oven for about an hour

I have a great recipe for brussel sprouts with bacon- they are irresistable and I used to hate brussel sprouts. I also am trying out a new recipe for sweet potato souffle with a brown sugar crust. Yum! Email me if you want the recipes!

Potatoes are always a great veggie that's not a veggie. Or like a green bean casserole. Tried and true favorites. If you need some recipies or inspiration this is the best website for cooking in the world

You can do an ingrediant search or just surf through the Thanksgiving sides.
Good luck!
