helvetica

autographs
remember way back when when i posted about that helvetica poster? well, thursday night i got one! tripper and i went to see the film "helvetica" and picked up a poster on the way out. we got to meet the director as well as a type designer—the one who invented verdana! fun! tripper had the great idea to get their autographs. funny how two people so involved with fonts can have such bad handwriting!

My boyfriend would do just about anything for that poster... he's an NYC graphic designer and OBSESSED with design, type, etc., and loves Helvetica (and Accidents Grotesque - I know that's not how you spell it, but I'm all about phonetic spelling when it comes to fonts)!

Ooh. Lucky. I want to see that movie. I am glad I checked your blog. Did you see it in the West Village?
